My Recent Green Beauty Product Winners....

My Recent Green Beauty Product Winners

I have had the opportunity to try some of these recently through samples obtained making other purchases...and I was impressed by all of them. I have a TON of other samples sitting in my closet that I have either tried and hated or forgotten about that I get from checking out on certain websites and what not. I picked out a few of my Green Favorites, for all the people out there that are looking for chemical free face products.

Kahina Giving Beauty Brightening Serum-72$: This is a really amazing serum that does a great job giving the skin a healthy glow. It contains a few ingredients worth mentioning, such as Lactobacillus Ferment, Argan Oil, Shea Butter Oil, and Algae Extract. The lactobacillus ferment is basically a probiotic for the skin, which is amazing seeing as probiotics are healthy bacteria that actually help ward off bad bacteria. I really loved the sample I got of this and was sad when it ran out.

Ilia Beauty Illuminator in Polka Dots & Moon Beams- 34$: I just love the name of this product...and have read enough rave reviews on it to give it a thumbs up. I would compare it to the RMS Beauty Illuminator, except that it is 4 dollars cheaper and comes in slightly better packaging for Illuminating the right areas bc you can apply it directly to the skin.

RMS Beauty Oil-74$: This oil is beyond amazing. I have been on a mission to find a great face oil as of late and this one has been the one that I have wanted to keep reaching for. I received a good size sample of it and was able to really give it a good try. It is expensive mind you, but has some really amazing ingredients, and you wouldn't believe how SOFT it makes your skin. UGH I wish it wasn't so expensive. It is Formulated with antioxidant, vitamin-rich exotic oils such as Buriti, Jojoba, Rose Hip and Tamanu, as well as rare herbal extracts including Ashwagandha and St. John’s Wort. The smell is funky...It kind of smelled like stale nuts with a slight Vanilla Extract fragrance..but I read that this is what it is supposed to smell like. I actually didn't mind it and the payoff with how my skin looked and felt after was worth it.

Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask-55$: If you are trying to go all green with your cosmetics, here is the ultimate of ultimates. Tata Harper has a farm in Vermont and grows pretty much all the ingredients that she incorporates into her products. How amazing is that? I think her products are extremely expensive but this mask was somewhat more fairly priced. I got a sample of it through Sephora and have been able to get 4 uses out of one little packet. Ummm...the more I used this, the more I liked it. There is a definite glow that you get almost immediately after you wash it off, which is weird because it's not a strong acidic peel. It is actually very gentle, even gentle enough to use daily I would imagine. AHA! Lactobacillus Ferment is one of the main ingredients; interesting seeing as it is also an ingredient in the Kahina Serum. Those probiotics are popping up everywhere! This jar should last for a long time because a tiny bit goes a long way. It feels kind of like jelly in the jar, doesn't sting upon application and dries to a kind of sticky shiny glaze on your skin. It washes off very easy, and you should give it about 30 minutes. Love it!
